Here's what I started with when I laid out what I wanted to do for my project. I got the basic shapes of the larger images that I would use to show the main parts of who I am. I'm supposed to chose two colors and any variants in between with white when coloring so I made my color swatches on the left.

Stage 2 of many. I actually started over a few times because I didn't like how I represent the perspective in some of the panels. This was a hell of a lot of work to do considering that I've never taken a perspective class yet and am using some of the basic stuff that was taught in some of my earlier art classes.

Moving on a little further I've got most of the layout done and started to work on the background image to make out my face. The three hexagonal shapes on the bottom left were some of the things that I was considering to use as a way to show my face without any traditional lines. The one that ended up using is the one furthest to the left.

Here is where I am now. It's not quite done, but it looks pretty good for what it is. I have to say that I'm happy with the results so far considering that I haven't had much experience with Illustrator and I got most of it done in two days. Now that might not sound like much, but when you've been working on it up to the wee hours in the night that's a lot of time. Even now as I post this up it's as a break from working on this and if the time doesn't show when I post this it's currently 3:33 AM. Well back to work.
